Lake Rules

Main Lake Rules

  1. Minimum 42″ Landing Net
  2. All Unhooking mats must have sides or be a cradle
  3. Minimum 15lb Mainline
  4. Maximum of 3 Rods 
  5. No Braid  – hooklinks, spod and marker only
  6. Semi fixed or running leads only
  7. The Magic Twig / Wand is banned on our lakes
  8. Tiger nuts as hook baits only No free offerings. No other nuts allowed 
  9. All anglers must carry a fish care kit
  10. No standing with fish
  11. No Tents, Bivvies only 
  12. No Keepnets
  13. 4 Nights max on a peg & then 4 nights off that peg
  14. No leaving rods unattended
  15. Strictly no fishing into the pads
  16. All Fish to be returned 
  17. All litter to be taken away or put in the bin

Match Lake Rules

  1. Open Dawn to Dusk
  2. No Spinners or Lures
  3. 1 Rod only
  4. Maximum hook size 10
  5. Barbless Hooks only
  6. Maximum 10lb main line 
  7. Strictly no braid
  8. No Bite Alarms
  9. All anglers must carry a fish care kit
  10. Unhooking mats and landing nets must be used
  11. No Keepnets except in matches
  12. All fish returned
  13. All litter to be taken away or put in the bin

Pike Angling Rules

  1. Minimum 30” Landing Net
  2. Unhooking mat 
  3. Wire Traces 
  4. Forceps must be used 
  5. Braid mainline 40lb minimum 
  6. No Live Baits
  7. Sea Dead baits only
  8. Semi Barbless trebles
  9. No Keepnets
  10. All fish returned
  11. All litter to be taken away or put in the bin

Ski Lake Rules

  1. Maximum 3 rods
  2. All unhooking mats must have sides or be a cradle
  3. Minimum 10lb mainline
  4. No tents, Bivvies only
  5. No Braid – hooklinks, spod & marker only
  6. No leaving rods unattended
  7. Minimum 42” landing net
  8. Tiger nuts as hook baits only, No free offerings. No other nuts allowed 
  9. No keepnets
  10. Maximum of 4 nights on the lake then 4 nights off 
  11. All fish returned
  12. All litter taken away or put in the bin

Stalking Rules

1. Members only
2. 1 rod only
3. Cannot fish in between occupied swims (so not to disturb others)
4. Safe fishing only
Must have full fish care (appropriate net, mat, antiseptic, etc).
5. If you wish to stalk and are already set up on the lake then you must fully pack up and vacate your swim first.

6. If somebody else commences fishing in the designated peg you must move on to give that angler priority unless the angler gives you permission to stay in his swim

Anglers must fish from the designated pegs on the Main Lake & Match Lake 
All snap offs must be reported to a bailiff or a member of the committee 
Alcohol is allowed in moderation & No Drugs , No Magnet fishing, 
All Anglers must have a Valid Fishing License 
THE COMMITTEE HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE OR REVOKE A MEMBERSHIP
